The Centre d’édition contemporaine (Centre genevois de gravure contemporaine until 2000) is an institution dedicated to the production and the promotion of contemporary editions and to making exhibitions, thus bringing together the specific fields of edition and contemporary art. Several emerging or well-established artists, from Switzerland or abroad, are invited to make an exhibition and to produce an edition (prints, artist’s books, publications, multiples, …).

Hors Commerce est un accrochage d’éditions historiques du Centre d’édition contemporaine. Il marque un moment de transition dans la vie et l’histoire du lieu. La nouvelle direction, Nicolas Brulhart, qui a succédé en juillet 2025 à Véronique Bacchetta, vous invite à venir découvrir ou redécouvrir cet héritage sur lequel est porté un regard intuitif.

Hors Commerce is an exhibition of historical editions from the Centre d’édition contemporaine. It marks a moment of transition in the life and history of the place. The new director, Nicolas Brulhart, who succeeded Véronique Bacchetta in July 2025, invites you to come and discover or rediscover this heritage, which is presented here in an intuitive way.
